I was born in Vicenza in North East Italy in 1977. Having grown up in a small village, both my curiosity and desire to explore the world grew tremendously. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by art and how emotions are represented through painting and design. The interest was cultivated during my teenage years and further developed when I opted to take my Diploma in Art and Design. Naturally, I was drawn to abstract painting. Throughout the 2000’s and 2010’s, I travelled extensively across Europe, developing my interest for post war expressionists painters. I am inspired by painters such as Terry Frost, Roger Hilton, Peter Lanyton, William de Kooning and Jackson Pollock. I was selected as one of the Italian emerging artists and my work was featured in Nuovi Segnali Magazine (2005) and exhibited in Vicenza, Padova as well as in Venice (2006). Settled in the UK, I started exploring illustration and graphic design. In 2010 I penned a map that really put Great Britain in the spotlight and my work was distributed to stores such as Selfridges, Next and Habitat.
